About Us

About Us...

Trigon Associates is an unconventional financial planning practice. We do, of course, cover all the aspects of helping individual and business clients to plan their finances, and then we add an extra dimension to this which makes the service we provide so much more valuable.

We consider ourselves to be Wealth Architects for good reason. Like architects, we are looking at both the short-term and the long-term, so we can ensure that the advice we give and the recommendations we make are right both for today and also well into the future.

Like those who design houses and offices, we know that things will change; the particular skills we add to the equation relate to planning for flexibility as required. If you were designing buildings in Japan or California; you would need to allow for the effects of earthquakes. We will allow for such events as family growth, an unexpected need for access to capital, long term illness and changing attitudes to risk.

Whatever your needs, we can help you:

  • Build up wealth during your working career, paying no more tax than is absolutely required;
  • Manage your wealth to ensure that it is not dissipated by unforeseen circumstances;
  • Maintain it for yourselves and your family;
  • Achieve a smooth and comfortable transition into retirement;
  • Pass on your estate to your chosen beneficiaries, with minimum liability to Inheritance Tax.

Few clients start with a “clean sheet”. We recognise that there will be existing arrangements that need to be reviewed and then either integrated into the new structure, “refurbished” or replaced. It is much the same with architects in the historic renovation sector; existing material can often be used very effectively, but sometimes it is more efficient to replace that which is no longer relevant.

This does not mean that previous arrangements were wrong; simply that things may have moved on.
